I have read all the Victoria Wilde books and I am never disappointed. They are sexy and funny, with a hint of mystery. I am very happy with this series and I think the author did a great job.
This series was great. Could not get enough. This author portrays each character so well, I feel I know them. The humor was great and refreshing. Loved all of these and was looking for more when I finished the last book.
I picked #0 and #1 up as freebies and ended up buying the whole series (a book at a time). It's pure erotica escapism for me...
This one wraps up all the storylines, and as Ian says in the Author's Note, we can't follow them around forever.
Thanks for the distraction, Ian, your stories are well written and (obviously) sucked me in. I'm not sure if I should check out your other writings... it could be a dangerous to my pocketbook! ;0
I purchased this book the day I found out that it came out, couldn't wait till I read it because I wanted to find out what happened with Brian and Jillian and with the court thing over the Leg Thingy! also could not wait till I found out who Victoria ended up with or did she stay single. This book kept me entertained there were some very hilarious scenes that had my sides hurting from laughing to much and the sex scenes were out of this world, some I have never heard of. I suggest reading all the other books before reading this one so you can follow along with each character. I was kinda sad when the book came to the end because I did not want it to end, maybe one day Ian can bring them back again. Thank you Ian for giving me such pleasure and joy in reading the Victoria Wilder series, this will be one series that I definitely keep.
Let me start by saying I'm kinda exhausted. Since discovering the series 4 days ago I have been on a marathon read of all 4. It was worth every minute....(my kids are a bit tired of me shhhhing them). I would recommend you read them all in order as each story flows into the other. This is the fourth book. I'm so glad I could read them together because waiting for the next installement would have driven me mad ( they are that good).
To say I'm gutted for the series to end is an understatement as I've come to adore the characters and I really felt like I had an invested interest in how things turned out for them all. Similarly the series was a riot to read with many laugh out loud moments, my only warning to you is to keep up the Kegel exercises as you'll laugh so hard!
What you can expect is a funny,sophisicated, smart and sexy read with HOT sex scenes as a bonus.
As for me if Brian can be cloned count me in, I'll be first in line......
I started reading the Victoria Wilde series virtually as soon as Ian started writing them and even now I can't say enough about how I love them.
What struck me first was that a man actually wrote these books as he obviously had tapped his inner woman ;). His insight into a womans mind is amazing.
He covers the whole range of emotions, one minute you are laughing next crying. It's scary, how involved you get in the story line (or maybe I just need a life).
I hope Ian continues with his writing as he has the talent and understanding of us poorly done by women.
Well I finally finished the last book in the series and it was pretty much what I expected. Second Thoughts was as the first three were 50% sex and 50% story and talking about sex. Victoria's slutty behavior continued to the point where she had her best friends husband Brian checking out her anus for to much hair and of course her best friend Jillian was just fine with that , not quite sharing but almost. So the story went with all the sexually liberal characters. I found the women in the book to be very juvenile and the men being ok with anything their women did as long as they got sex. By the end of this 4th book I was pretty bored.
